Christophe Pillet (1959 - )

Christophe Pillet studied until 1985 at the Ecole nationale supérieure d'art de Nice. After graduating from the Domus Academy in Milan, he joined the Memphis group (as an assistant to Martine Bedin and Michele De Lucchi). Back in Paris, between 1989 and 1993 Pillet participated in the development of Philippe Starck's agency.

At the beginning he was published by XO or Algorithme. In 1993 Christophe Pillet created his own agency. The same year, he was named "Designer of the Year" at the Paris Furniture Fair, and his independent career was launched.

He developed boutiques for major brands such as Lancel or Lacoste and collaborated with Driade, Cappellini or Porro.
