Lýdia Mészárosová-Čepková (1936 – 1999)
Lýdia Mészárosová-Cepková is a Czech ceramist. Between 1951 and 1955 she studied in the department of ceramic in the school of industrial art in Bratislava, then from 1955 till 1961 in the Academy of the Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague
Between 1963 and 1964, she worked as a designer in the state-owned company of Karlovy Vary, the factory of Brezova, where she created many porcelains rooms. Later she returned to Slovakia, and settled down in Kosice where she dedicated herself to the ceramic.
Her reliefs and mosaics decorate the walls of one of restaurant in Tatranska Lomnica, the stations of Poprad-Tatry and Roznava, the building of veterinary's University to Kosice, the cultural house Trebisov, public baths Astoria Bardejovské Kúpele and many others.
