The Boom Rang chair was designed by Philippe Starck in 1991 and published by Driade between 1992 and 1997. The structure is in polyurethane with metal reinforcements. This model exists in two different colors. The practical aspect dear to Starck is manifested by its stackable character. The curves of this chair present a biomorphic dimension that echoes other pieces of the designer. The shape of the backrest probably led the designer to give the name Boom Rang to this model.
