Our story

Founded in January 2017, Galerie Parallèle offers an original and diversified selection of furniture, lighting and accessories from the European design of the 1950s to 1990s.

It specialises in designers from Eastern Europe as well as French designers from the 1980s and 1990s.

Each product is thus presented through a precise and detailed history allowing to present its purpose and objective. In addition, Galerie Parallèle provides biographies of artists and designers whose works are presented here, hoping to highlight a very interesting and, sometimes, still unknown artistic production.

Some of these objects have been restored in materials that respect the style of the time, others are preserved in their original vintage state. All the pieces thus proposed have been chosen for their aesthetic quality, originality and functionality.
