Vladimir Velickovic is a Yugoslav painter born in 1935. During his architect’s studies in the sixties, he decided to focus on painting. His first individual exhibit took place  in 1963, and in 1965 he moves in Paris.
His is one of the principals members of narrative figuration, movements that aims to give a social and political sense to painting.
In his pieces, the artist paints Human or animals in dramatic and scaring situation. His art denounces Human cruelty.
