This lamp was designed by Scottish designer Gerard Taylor for French publisher Drimmer in 1981. At the time, Taylor was a member of the Memphis group founded by Ettore Sottsass. Limited to 200 units. The base is in metal, the foot in earthenware and the cylinder in glass.

The publisher described it as follows:

“This lamp is his first ceramic lamp and is therefore a new experience for which his first concern was to find a familiar image for the home while at the same time disrupting and making a fresh start through changes in scale and color.”
